SACC Board of Directors

Deborah Osborn, President

Debbie is a lifelong Stillwater resident and a graduate of Stillwater Central School, where she attended 4th through 6th grades at the Community Center!  She furthered her education at Russell Sage College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management, and a Masters Degree in Public Service and Health Services Administration. Debbie has been a public servant her entire adult life, starting in the education system when her son was in elementary school and followed by 24 years of service in Saratoga County, where Debbie was the Director of Eligibility Programs. Now retired, Debbie recently started her own small consulting business, helping families navigate through the overwhelming process of obtaining appropriate long term care for their loved ones.

The most important and meaningful part of her life centers around her family and time spent with them. Debbie’s son, Jason, also a graduate of Stillwater, went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is currently a supervising attorney with the IRS in Washington, DC. He and his wife Sarah and their three beautiful daughters live in Maryland. The time Debbie gets to spend with them is “priceless”.

Serving the Community of Stillwater through the Community Center is very “natural” for her.   Debbie commented that “I want our residents to be able to have a place where they can not only enjoy themselves, but find an “extended” family, a true community.
