Taught by Doug Rubinstein and friends through the Mechanicville-Stillwater United Soccer Club. For ‘experienced’ pre-k players to second-graders just starting. Intro to Windows Smart Phone Program Development – Build Your Own App!

Starts March 1: Middle and high school students can learn how to build their very own phone app.

Taught by programmer Russell Kirkwood. The one hour class will take place Thursdays,6-7 p.m.at SACC starting March 1, continuing for six classes to April 5. Open to the first seven registrants. Student must bring a laptop computer with Windows 7 orVistato class. There is a $20 registration fee. If you don’t have a laptop, contact us and we’ll keep your name for subsequent classes, when we hope to be able to provide in-class computers for students. Parents must volunteer to attend at least one class.

Defensive Driving Class March 26 and 28th

SACC is partnering with the Northeastern New York Safety & Health Council to provide a Defensive Driving Class. You can reduce your points and lower your insurance rates by taking this class – up to 10% off the base rate for collision and liability. Class will be held on March 26 and 28^th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. The cost is $35.00 per person, and can be payable on the date of the course.

Complete and return the Defensive Driving Registration Form, or call 664-2515 x 10 to reserve a space. Class size is limited.

T-Ball 2012

T-Ball is for girls and boys, ages 4 to 7 years old. Sign-ups are through March 24. The season runs from April 9^th to June 6, and games are every Monday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post 490 Fields. Registration fee is $40 first child, $35 second child. First-Fridays After School Crafts Program – Starts March 2

Millie Collette is offering a free crafts program from 4 – 5 p.m. the first Friday of the month, for middle and high school students.

We are looking for middle and high school crafters, and also more volunteer teachers so we can expand this program to more days. If you are looking for a way to share your skills with the Stillwater community, please give us a call.
